Championship System Provider Of Race Leader JerseyChampionship System (www.champ-sys.com), providers of cycling gear to professional teams, clubs and retailers, has agreed to provide the CD&P Bermuda Grand Prix with a custom designed leaders jersey for the 2006 event. Design by Bermuda artist Peter Matcham, the jersey reflects the bright beach colors associated with Bermuda. Eschewing the traditional yellow of many cycling stage races, the Bermuda Grand Prix has elected to go with a unique design and color scheme that best reflects the island. But there should be no worries that the leader will be hard to find. With bright pink and blues and adorned with palm trees, there will be no confusing who is leading the race at any point. Event Director Peter Dunne stated “We are thrilled to have such a generous supplier as Champion System for our event this year. Charlie Issendorf and his colleagues have been great to work with and there production process was incredibly quick.
